Description
Security footage from the night of the incident was recovered from the museum's surveillance system. Camera 4 recorded normally until 11:48 PM, at which point it stopped rcording for approximately ten minutes.
Initial Observations
The relevant footage shows
- 11:32 PM - Courtyard empty.
- 11:47 PM - Unknow person enters.
- 11:48 PM - Camera 4 stops recording.
- 11:49 PM - Courtyard lights switch off..
- 11:53 PM - Movement detcted on Camera 3.
- 11:58 PM - Camera 4 resumes recording.
- 12:01 AM - Unknown person leaves through staff entrance.
Connection to the Case
The camera blackout overlaps almost exaxtly with the estimated period of the vandalism.
Investigation Significance
CRITICAL
Someone either knew about the camera problem or deliberately interfered with the security system. The person entering the staff corridor may be the vandal.
Investigator's Note
The timing is too convenient. The camera fails, the courtyar lights go out, and an unidentified person appears inside the restricted area. Determine who knew about Camera 4.
