Emily's grandfather was a historian who spent years researhing the Westbrook Founder Statue. Berfore he died, he told Emily that there was "more to the statue than the museum lets people believe". Emily became fascinated with it and secretly looked through old archive documents trying to find out what he meant.

Statement

"I left the museum at about 9:30. I was helping organise some boxes in the archive room. I didn't go anywhere near the courtyard. After I left, I went straight home."

Alibi

Emily says she was at home from apprximately 10:00 PM onwards.

Her mother confirms that Emily was home that night. However, there is a 30-minute gap between Emily leaving the museum and arriving home.
